"The Grant AYSO is awesome! All of my grandkids have been a part of this group. It's so fun to watch the older kids using their skills all the way down to the 4 year olds learning new skills. The saddest thing about it is that so few parents will step up and help with coaching, reffing or even the concession stand. Everyone wants to sit on the sidelines and complain that things aren't good enough, that "youth refs" shouldn't be allowed, that the concession stand isn't open for the whole days events and even that the grass isn't cut short enough, but no one wants to take a shift or a position that would help. Believe me, my kids played soccer when they were little and my husband and I gave all that we could. If people can't step up and help out, at least have the courtesy to thank those who set aside time with their kids to coach yours."
