"This is hand down one of the best surgical experience for a child you could ask for. Every step of the way from check in to check out is very organized. They explain things so you can understand it, medicate your child appropriately and make you and your child as comfortable as possible. The stuff animal waiting on the bed for them was so amazing and made my 3 year old experience exciting. I could go on and on about this place and wish I could give more stars."

"The staff here is phenomenal! My kids had their first surgery today, the staff explained and repeated everything to us and ensured we felt comfortable. They were so caring and sympathetic. Couldn’t have asked for a better team!"

"The amount you pay for a 15 minute procedure is insane. While the building is nice, and staffing was very kind to us, the billing here is terrible. You do have to pay upfront, the other reviews are correct. We paid somewhere around $3,100.00 for my son to have tubes put in his ears, then later received a $481.00 bill from the anesthesiologist. Really? $3,500 for 15 minutes? I understand these people go to school for a long time and deserve to be paid well but practices like this are what are bleeding Americans dry of their money and unable to properly care for our children. The bill for the anesthesiologist was never mentioned when we made the appointment. It was definitely a "Oh yeah we're also going to throw that in there without telling you" type fee."

"After reading some negative reviews, we were a little nervous about using this place. Our son has Autism. However, our son’s surgeon recommended it. So we went in with fingers crossed. We were so wrong to have believed the negative reviews. We had an AMAZING experience. In fact, we were shocked that this was one of the most pleasant healthcare experiences we have ever had! We felt that the people who work here including all the nursing staff and doctors were kind, caring and compassionate. We felt like they cared deeply about making a positive lasting impression on my son and family. My son had a loose tooth and they were worried that he would swallow it during surgery so they removed it and put it in a child tooth container with a dollar bill from the tooth fairy :) They also gave my son a stuffed lion to take home with him. We are thankful for our experience here and would highly recommend this as a surgery center for parents who’s kids need surgery without any reservation. Thank you Great Lakes team!"

"My daughter had to have her tonsils, and adenoids removed. Also had to have tubes placed by Dr. Kady. All of the staff here were so nice and accommodating not only to her but to me as well. Dr. Kady did amazing; we were home before noon. We both appreciate the great experience."
