"It is with great disappointment that I must advise those of you considering the Michigan Eyecare Institute to beware. Before acquiring their services, it is imperative that you conduct meticulous research and gain a thorough understanding of everything they claim to offer. Unfortunately, on my recent visit, I discovered that the Institute is nothing short of a complete RIP Off. As a customer with healthcare and Eye insurance, I was dismayed to be charged an outrageous sum of $300 out of pocket. This was supposedly because I was regarded as a probable case of Glaucoma, notwithstanding the lack of a definitive diagnosis. In fact, the doctor strenuously affirmed that my eyesight was in fine shape, even after examining me. Despite the billable services provided in spite of this, the Institute chose to bill my healthcare insurance instead of EyeMed. It is difficult to comprehend and I, for one, cannot make sense of it. What's more, this unsatisfying experience was accompanied by poor customer service from the billing team and the Manager. I intend never to utilize their services again and, for those searching for stellar customer service coupled with competence and dependability amongst Eyecare providers, I simply cannot recommend the Michigan Eyecare Institute."
