"We brought my daughter to Dr. Lundblad for an evaluation as we suspected she had ADHD. Dr Lundblad sat down with my husband and I to gather information. She also traveled to my daughters daycare to observe her. She then did 2 days of testing to make sure she covered all her bases. I am incredibly thankful for Dr. Lundblad for taking so much time to evaluate and understand my daughter. It has allowed me to seek the additional services she needs. She is thriving and I feel like I can actually communicate with my daughter on a level she understands which has lead to a happier home and family life. She is off to Pre-K in a couple weeks with the assistance she needs and it’s all thanks to Dr. Lundblad. Additionally, while I was at this facility in the waiting room I noticed the additional staffs interaction with those who were on the spectrum. I also have a son on the spectrum and I am always looking to see how someone interacts. They talked to these children and adults in the manner that I would want to be spoken too, they all seemed very happy to be there as well. All the children that I encountered were at least minimally interactive and smiled. If I was not located so far away I would enroll my son in a heartbeat to this location."
"Building bridges has the greatest staff and resources for a family of a special needs child. I couldn't do this life without them. I highly recommend you come here for help. They're incredible."
"Best decision I’ve made. Just 5 weeks in on the 8 week summer program and my 3 year old is talking so much more clear! I can’t say enough about this place as they have made so much progress with my son so fast. My son is so comfortable with Ms. Cassandra he actually kicks me out to be with her which is rare for him. I can only speak for their speech program but that definitely gets 5 stars!"
"We have been going to building bridges since my son was 2 1/2. He is now almost 7. The amount of growth and progress he has made has been astronomical. I carry over at home what they do in therapy and he is thriving. We have had the same OT since we started and she is amazing. Our speech we have had almost 3 years she is wonderful as well. For the most part we have always had a really great Aba team. The times we didn’t it was fixed, and it was no fault of the therapists, just a personality conflict with my son, Amazing place they have really changed my sons life and helped us to shape an amazing future for him."
"Our experience with building bridges is from the outside looking in. My stepdaughter has been going there for 10 years. At a very high cost with for very little improvements from what we can see. She has completed their occupational therapy she is in speech therapy and music therapy. Insurance will not cover music therapy at all. After years of all 3 therapies provided the child still did not know to pull up her pants after she went to the bathroom and would use only her hands to feed herself. We spoke with the owner Brad he agreed to send my husband progress reports we received 3. After we stopped receiving the reports and NOTHING being billed to our insurance (the child's secondary insurance). We assumed the child was no longer attending therapy. Until the child's mother sent us a years worth of bills from building bridges. I contacted Lauren the person who files the claims. She informed me she did not bother billing our insurance because the child's deductible was not met on her primary insurance. I explained the mother held these bills for a year and once she files them with the court we only have 21 days to pay. I needed them filed asap. Lauren then told me it was an audit week and she would have to wait a week to file them! I asked to speak to the owner although she refused to get him she did back off and said she would file them that day Nov 13 2017. I contacted the insurance company Nov 21st to make sure they received the claims, they had NOT. Called Lauren again on the 21st more attitude and excuses. I explained they did not receive them and again reminded her we have a very small window of opportunity to take care of this before it's in the courts hands. She told me there are a few ways to file them she chose to file them through an electronic porthole. I went on to explain the insurance company checked they said they would have it in 72 hours if she had filed them. They received NOTHING. They also said they would need an explanation of benefits from the primary insurance company. Then Lauren replied that I will have to send hard copies. However my procedure is to wait 2 weeks then follow up to see if the insurance company received the claims. So she will do nothing on it until next week because she doesn't follow up for 2 weeks! Even though I explained to her I followed up this week and they did not receive the claims and that they would need the explanation of benefits. So they would have to be filed hard copy anyway. Her next excuse was this was a short work week due to the thanksgiving holiday. They've only been paid over $4,000 out-of-pocket expenses for these " services". If I were the owner Lauren would be looking for a new job! You would think a family already facing the challenges of dealing with a disabled child a place like this would understand and want to alleviate as much financial burden as they can. My experience with Building Bridges as I get the feeling as long as they get their money they don't care if it comes out of the insurance pocket or the parents pocket it's all about the money. Again my husband and I see very little benefit from his daughter attending there for over 10 years! I would check out all of your options before taking your child there. I also again asked to speak to the owner and was told he was on vacation this week in Florida. I would think he'd still be reachable in Florida it's not like he's in Siberia! Sincerely Kim Burns Up date now it's Dec 5th! After several calls to the insurance company and another with Lauren the bills have still not been filed correctly with the insurance company and several were still not filed! Lauren picked the bills she was going to improperly fill with my insurance. She picked only the bills that had $23.31 out of pocket cost. 15 of them for a total cost of $349.65. However the 12 claims at $116.54 & one for $104.52 she did not file AT ALL for a total of $1503. Brad' s response to this was insurance can be confusing! Well Brad I hope this will help with some of the confusion. The insurance company will not pay on claims that are NOT FILED!"
