"Tara the nurse practitioner was absolutely amazing with my medical frustrations in being seen by my PCP and stayed on the phone with me over an hour trying to get everything sorted out with me, other doctors, and my insurance company. She was truly more caring than any other the mental health or other doctors I've tried to see the last 9 months for postpartum care. TARA and ARBOR PARK (Nurse practitioner) THANK YOU for looking and treating me like a human and not just a number. You could have quite literally saved my life."
"Dr. Parker, Dr. Martin, and Dr. Deenadaylu are my favorites. Pros: - Parker can be a bit clinical but just make a little small talk and you’ll be buddies. She’s through. She will always respond and advocate for pelvic PT. We love to see that! - Martin is chill and will make you feel so at ease. I would recommend her to anyone who feels a bit anxious about stuff. For example, when we were trying to conceive and then later with my gestational diabetes, I never felt judged or shamed. - Deenadaylu also has a chill presence. He feels through as well, although I wish he recommended pelvic PT when he first saw my scar tissue on my first child. Cons: - Admin: sure, scheduling appointments (why can’t online be easier?) and the long wait times can be annoying. But honestly, the longest a quick appointment took was probably 40-45 minutes? After that, I just started canceling them since I didn’t have questions anyways. So if you’re an expectant mum reading this and annoyed with these appointments, just cancel them haha. No one wants to spend an hour of their day just to have their blood pressure checked and one question asked by a doctor."
"The male receptionist would not give me a good faith estimate when I asked and told me someone else would in a rude way. I should have walked out then. But I needed this appointment. I take my health seriously. Then the second person laughed at me when they read my name. This was after seeing the doctor and while I was unsure of my pregnancy status. Very unprofessional. I was going in for prenatal care and while the doctor and manager of the office were great the check in and out clerks were not. You dont know anyone's pregnancy journey and I will not be going back. Do not go to this office. I deeply regret it."
"I had a visit with Dr. Martin a couple weeks ago and I initially thought it went well. However, after our appointment, I had a question about the prescription and I messaged Dr. Martin about it. I was mainly concerned about the prescription’s potential to exacerbate a condition I had and I messaged her to confirm once again that it wouldn’t. I’m so happy I did this. At the time, Dr. Martin was out of office so Dr. Deenadayalu took her messages. It was here that Dr. Deenadayalu stated that the prescription wasn’t a good fit for me because of its potential to worsen my condition and recommended something else. This left me a bit frustrated; during my appointment with Dr. Martin, I had explicitly stated that I was trying to avoid worsening my condition. So, Dr. Deenadayalu's recommendation upon seeing my questions confused me. Anyways, fast-forward, Dr. Martin wants me to pay for another appointment to have the same conversation that we did before. This is a disappointing outcome, but I am looking for a doctor that is more meticulous. I don’t want to have to confirm multiple times with them. Unfortunately, I will be ending my patient-doctor relationship here. This was not a good experience. It literally made me cry because I’m just so frustrated. I wasted my time and money only to be in a position where it’s as if I never had a visit."
"This clinic is consistently running around a half an hour behind. My wife and I have had long waits at every appointment. As a practicing dentist, I understand this is an administration issue and they are overbooking the providers. Unfortunately, the providers also have been rushed, impersonal, and clearly have often not read through our case before the appointments. One of the doctors even reintroduced herself and went through her whole introduction and we had to remind her that she's met us before. I would try to go with midwives or go elsewhere."
