"Very disappointed with my care from Dr. Dettlof and his staff. When I made the appointment, I requested x-rays and the gel shots in both knees. I also reminded his nurse about the gel shots and informed her about my occurring left hip pain. She neglected to inform the doctor of my hip pain and my desire for the gel shots. It was great they checked with my insurance comapny to see if the shots are covered but no one told me in advance that I will be waitung a few minutes longer in the exam room. I get horrible anxiety from sitting in an enclosed room by myself. Furthermore, I had to ask to review my xrays and compare them to my last ones so i can see the progression of my arthritis. As a patient, that would had been his first responsibility. As for my hip pain, the only advice was to see if it's referral pain from my knee and give it 2 weeks."
