"I took my mom to the doctor after they sent her an appointment confirmation, but when we arrived, we were told that the doctor was on medical leave. They did not call to notify us. They said they could see it on their end, but we couldn't see it on ours, so we wasted a morning, getting up, making room in our schedule for nothing. They have no respect for other people's time. Also. This is the second time this has happened."
"This review is for the billing department. Last year I had my child and set up a payment plan, which I have on automatic payment and have not missed a payment since setting up the plan. The issue I have is that two weeks ago now, I got an email saying that my payment was declined and that my plan was being cancelled, and I was being sent to collections. Mind you I had already my payment for the month. So I called extremely confused on what was going on. I got told that because the payment plan they ALLOWED me to set up included service which was now over however many billing cycles allow, that that portion was being sent to collections. At first I was told that I wasn't to collections, and then was told I had been sent, and that they were trying to recall the amount from collections. I have called everyday for an update, and am always told that they are waiting on answers from their manager, who I have left over five voicemails for, and have not had any call returned. At this point I am beyond mad that they not only tried to collect payment outside of the contracted time, but sent me to collections, and while I am trying to resolve this no one can get me answers or a call back. They act like they want to receive your payment and get their money, but god forbid you actually try to pay on anything in installments with plans they agreed upon. If you can avoid them at all costs due to their billing practices"
"I was surprised by the one star reviews from my first visit as I was happy Dr. Sprunger had a new idea for the root cause of pain. BUT NOW I SEE IT! I need a pre-authorization form completed for my medication which I alerted the doctor to Wednesday early afternoon right after my appointment. It is now Friday afternoon and I will be basically made to go into the emergency room if I cannot mitigate my pain with other methods because they couldn’t get the form done in time and no one will help me today. I think it’s interesting South Bend Clinic preaches proactive and preventative medicine to patients but when they are trying to do their best to mitigate emergency room visits, there’s no help."
"The Drs and Nurses I saw for my CAT scan were very kind. I didn't have an issue with the staff. The issue I have is with their billing department. I told them repeatedly I wanted an itemized statement. They said there is no such thing. I have a friend who works in billing at a different facility and they informed me that by law they are required to give me one. I had to call back and unfortunately got rude with whomever I spoke to on the phone. Repeatedly told me that wasn't a thing, and wouldn't let me speak to someone higher up who would know more. Finally got someone who said they could do it. Got it in the mail. And all they did was write down my day of service with a code and the service itself. I called back and told them that it wasn't itemized and I wanted it all. Down to the two pregnancy tests they asked me to take because of fear of pregnancy before the scan. And I was told again there was no record of me taking pregnancy tests. I have been laid off since May and call them once a month to try and make some form of payment. Every time I tell them I am still unemployed and cannot make the $80 a month they want. I could do the $25. But they keep telling me there is nothing they can do and they are sending me to collections anyway. All they want to say is "Sorry we can't do that." Do not recommend this clinic ever unless you're ready to go into debt over $600."
"Rude, and unhelpful staff. Waited over a hour for my appointment. Had to ask about the delay. Was told dr running behind could be an hour and a half more. RESPECT my time please. Would give a zero star review."
