"I know everyone’s experiences are very different with doctors - but personally I had a terrible experience with dr pilbeam. She delivered my son in 2021 as the doctor on shift as my regular obgyn was on vacation. Dr pilbeam continually pushed me for interventions that were unnecessary. She wanted to give me a C-section without it being necessary and also tried to give me an episiotomy when my baby was 2 pushes from being born. I said no and challenged her - but I was really frustrated by the way things went under her care. It didn’t seem as though she cared much for me as a patient but rather cared about getting me to have my baby quickly so she could wash her hands of me."
