"I was a patient of Dr Kiami for several years and was very pleased with the care I was given. . His nurse was always pleasant to me and the receptionist was also very kind. He was strict about appointments but he also never made me wait. I'm shocked to see such negative comments in these reviews as I never once had a bad experience with the doctor or his staff. They were all helpful and informative. The Dr answered all my questions and never made me feel rushed. We even shared golf stories. I was saddened when his nurse left due to her health issues. She had terrible back problems. Unable to replace her and due to the COVID surge at the time, Dr Kiami closed his practice. I pray they are all doing well and I thank them for all the years they cared for me."

"Dr. K was rude, explained my Grave's in about one sentence, (how like your car is like your body, heart like engine, thyroid is gas pedal- Grave’s is duct tape that tapes your gas pedal down- said engine will blow up- made a KAPOW sound, got up, shook my hand and walked out) He refused to speak to my eye disease, kept telling me it was allergies instead of informing me of this eye disease TED, another autoimmune disease is in unison with my Grave's. He refused to return calls for 3, yes 3 months, so I called the hospital board, asked to have a meeting, but he was fired 10 days before we all met. No follow up. Couldn't well tolerate some of his staff, almost as arrogant as he was. He was a nightmare doctor, especially since I hadn’t understood this disease, so the experience, RAI, ensuing issues, all such a nightmare. I found out so much more about this disease after I left him. If I could sue him, I probably would."

"Was a great doctor. He found my wife’s issue when no one else could. He is very straight and to the point. But this is because he cares and knows you don’t want to be hidden from the truth. He also ensured we had the best surgeon and oncologist to help with the surgery. He has been nonstop in his vigilance and ensuring that my wife is getting better and taken care of. There is a reason why he is one of the best in his field."

"After having to leave numerous messages by myself and my pharmacy to get a refill on my prescriptions, I got my med a month later and I was finally told by one of the nurses that Dr. Kiami believed that I never took them and that's why my bloodwork was "off". I told her I took it everyday when I could get them to call my prescriptions in. (I seriously did not have my med for a month because they never returned our calls). I then had to have bloodwork done and he wanted me to come back to the office to do it. (I'm 2 1/2 hours away.) I said I could do it at the local hospital if he would send me orders. I got the orders a month later and it was suppose to be done a week before my appointment with him. I called 6 times in 2 weeks to ask if I should still keep my appointment because my bloodwork is usually done 4-6 weeks before my appointment. I never got a call back. So last week I called and cancelled my appointment. I got a letter in the mail today postmarked this past Monday and my appointment wasn't until Wednesday and it said he is dropping me as a patient because I failed to cancel my appointments or I just don't show up. I have been a patient for 8+ years and this is the second appointment I had to cancel. The first was because they had closed the Mackinac Bridge and I couldn't cross. His office also put a bill in with the letter and it said he was still billing me for the office visit which is $150. My insurance doesn't cover my office visit with him. I pay him $150 every time I walk through his door and he talks to me for 5 minutes and doesn't even check my thyroid. I drive 2 1/2 hours and miss a full day of work to keep my appointments and then he sends me a rude letter pretty much telling me that I'm a bother and not worth his time! It will be a cold day in hell before I pay the bill he sent me! I would rate him no stars if I could!"

"I had an appointment for 10:30 AM, wife with MS starts to have a seizure at 9:00 that morning. No way I can leave her with the sitter so I call and re-schedule the appointment for the following week. 3 hours later I get a call from his office informing me that the doctor will not see me, cancelled the nest week appointment and charges me $90 for a missed appointment. I can see the $90 for a missed appointment but to be so arrogant that he believes his time is worth more than my wife's is pitiful! Too bad i couldn't give no stars!!"
