"I took my son there who was not feeling well, while we were up for gun season. Dr. Gertiser went above and beyond to make sure my son was better. He asked us if we could come in on Saturday so he could do a follow up. (His day off). So, we Met him in office Saturday. Very personable. I would reccomend his office again. (I hope I don't need to visit them again) but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate going there"

"They don't accept my health insurance. I went to 3 different places. I wasn't going to pay over 500 dollars to be seen for a bad headache and dizziness. The walk in next to the hospital ain't open anymore and the one next to the funeral home wasn't open. This is ridiculous for being on a Monday. The only place I can found is mid Michigan in HL that accepts my health insurance."

"Went to go there for a strep throat swab and they had the doors locked fifteen minutes before close. They have hours of operation posted for a reason. And should be open during said hours. I took time off from my job and had gotten a sitter to be there. There was construction on the way in. Regardless if it was close to closing it was still within hours of operation. I will not be returning ."

"I called to make an appointment with Jerry and was told that they do not take appointments but will only take walk ins. I was trying to get an appointment to have my blood pressure pills renewed. On Friday,January 21st I went to the urgent care at 11:25 am and was told there was an hour and a half wait. I informed the receptionist that I was just coming in to get a renewal and she said I hadn’t been seen in person by Jerry in 15 months so I could not get a refill until he saw me. I grudgingly went out and waited in my vehicle. Finally, I was called in weighed in and then taken to a room to wait for Jerry. When the assistant took my blood pressure she started asking me questions while taking it and I tried to ignore them so it wouldn’t raise my blood pressure anymore then it already was. It was 170 over 90- way higher than it has ever been. She said it was probably due to me waiting so long (you think?). Finally Jerry came in at 1:15 and put his bare hand out to shake mine. I refused. While waiting for him I could hear people in the next room hacking profusely. I told him that I didn’t think that he should take up valuable time with me when there were sick people all around me. I just wanted my blood pressure pills and I was not sick but probably would get sick being exposed to so many people. I also told him that during this pandemic crisis this office should be an urgent care facility only. He then told me that obviously I wasn’t planning on coming back so he would give me a month’s supply of blood pressure pills. I told him with this new outbreak I would need more than a months supply to find a new doctor. He said there were a lot of doctors out there and it shouldn’t take that long. This man is totally arrogant and unprofessional. I was not there for an opiate or pain medication. I am not being irrational. Fifteen months ago when I saw him for the first time I had blood work done and a chest X-ray. He never called with results or requested a follow up. I had to call the office and was told everything including my chest x ray was fine. I had other questions but decided not to bother. I would not recommend him to anyone that expects professionalism and common sense when seeking health care."
