"The care I have received over the years from the physicians and technical staff has been truly outstanding. My EyeMed vision plan provides one exam per year including dilation, refraction and rental imaging at no cost. When I made the appointment for my recent exam I asked for a January date to ensure it had been one year since my last exam. The person setting up the appointment said the one year requirement did not apply to me and set up a December visit for me. I was subsequently charged for the exam because of the one per year requirement. GTOC should ensure that the office staff understands the billing rules of the EyeMed vision plan."
