"The front desk hostess (woman with dark curly hair, she wouldn’t even give me her name) was extremely rude when I went to the hospital to visit a friend having heart problems today. Absolutely no reason for her to act and say the things she did. I have no idea how she could get or keep a job with her lack of people skills. Not impressed with Munson from the moment I arrived."
"Ruthless, heartless, greedy billing department. They use crooks for collections, which follows their ruthless and heartless practices. Overpaid executives, "non-profit", doesn't pay property taxes, and makes patients wait to be seen in the ER for 8+ hours, with life threatening issues. Be VERY careful if you use them for medical care, you will have a garnishment sent to your employer in no time, they wont honor agreed upon payment plans, and no one cares."
"My daughter was in the ER with a ruptured appendix for 6.5 hours before a bed & Dr were available. Luckily she's alive. In addition when I called the nurse hung up on me. There was no call button available to my daughter for a few hours. Her IV monitor kept going off & the nurse told her to reset it every 45 seconds until someone could address it. I also walked in on medical staff in the bathroom taking a "pic" with an unlocked door. The surgeon was wonderful & I'm grateful she's alive. I wish there were more options for emergencies here."
"Never bring a loved one to the ER here. You will be waiting minimum 5 hours. When asked why they were so understaffed, they said this was normal. Some of the staff & nurses are so sweet & caring, but the way this place is run causes so much suffering and preventable pain. Just go anywhere else."
"I really don’t understand the negative reviews. Don’t trust them! My husband had his knee replaced here today. The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The facility was extremely clean. The food in the cafeteria exceeded my expectations - I had breakfast and lunch. From the moment we came in to the moment we were loaded in our car, our day went perfectly. My husband is in virtually no pain - 11 hours after his knee replacement! I am so glad we chose Munson."
