"I was a 6th grader at Pierce Middle School and I'm an 8th grader now, I moved to a new state and started attending a new school in 7th grade that I enjoy a lot better. I barely had friends and there was no diversity there. I was made fun of for listening to k-pop, while everyone else listened to rap. I felt very out of place there, or I didn't "fit in" as some would say. I was basically an outcast. The kids were absolutely foul, behavior-wise. I remember in my Choir class, they would constantly make fun of a kid who was mentally disabled, so much to where the assistant principal had to come and and talk to us. The only thing I really enjoyed was ESP, or Eagle Scholars Program. I felt comfortable in my honors classes for the most part, although some kids from my elementary school weren't that kind towards me, I enjoyed it a lot. Mrs. Kus is my favorite teacher out of all teachers I've had throughout my life."
