"I am part of the Watch Dog program at this school. I find all the teachers to be extremely kind and caring. The administrators make sure the school is up and running in a safe and caring way. Anytime I have needed to interact with the Princible or Secretary they make time to listen and help with any issues. The staff is very diversified in their backrounds. Problem students are given sound guidance and if followed up in the home will turn out to be wonderful citizens. I hate common core math, but they must teach it according to state guidlines. There is no prejudice agendia of any form at this school. Glad I get to view this facility from a non-threatened volunteer position."

"I use to love this school. This use to be a school that pushed the kids to excellence. Once they began open enrollment the learning took a nose dive. The principal even sent her kids to another school district after open enrollment, but they had been going to Addams since before my son started there 4 years ago (what a coincidence right!) I've been complaining about their curriculum for a while and it's annoying that they're determined not to educate the children beyond the minimum requirements. My son's 4th grade spelling words are; Happy, Stormy, Heavy, Dirty, Angry... along with another 15 simple 1st grade words. They only give 3 worksheets of homework a week and when I complain about it I was told that they don't give homework that kids will need help with because some kids don't have anyone at home to help them. So I have to assign my son spelling words fit for a 4th grader as well as math problems. If you're interested in your child getting a good education it would be best if you find another school, I definitely did and I can't wait for him to start this fall. It takes more than hugs, smiles and pleasant conversations to be a good school."
