Pioneer Specialty Hospital

"Wife came here after a stroke and we really had a great experience. Many wonderful nurses and rehab people working with her. I recommend Pioneer Specialty Hospital at Garden City for anyone coming out of the hospital and needing rehab. This is a much better option than a nursing home/rehab. Rooms are nice and we had a private room--I think they all are single bed."

"I came in the hospital for a seizure in and they did not even help me come to find out I went to another hospital and I didn’t even have a seizure. I had a brain injury. They refused to check and see I had a brain injury at all the worst hospital I ever been to."

"No discharge papers on 5/20 after being in hosp. From 4//8/21. Called nurse supervisor, cas manager. No one answered calls. Still trying to get discharge papers. Would never recommend this unit to anyone."

"DO NOT take your loved ones if you want them alive. Improper care, and will not let you know or communicate with you. Doesn’t pay attention to what medicines to give patients. If you have a choice do not take them here."
