Beaumont Medical Center - Garden City

"The provider did no type of assessment during the visit even though there were multiple concerns we discussed. My mom has not seen a health care provider for 5+ years and this information was expressed to the provider. I was expecting for the provider to listen to lung sounds or heart sounds and tones due to my mom being an asthmatic and having heart problems. A basic assessment and labs could have been drawn if nothing else. The staff member in green handed us paper work at the end of our visit and told us we were all set and walked back to her desk expecting us to know our way back to the front of the office to exit the office, when we inquired about which way to go we were given directions sarcastically and laughed at by the 2 staff members in green. I had over heard one of then say "it's not like it's that hard to find" as they proceeded to laugh together. This was rude because it was our first visit and we were unsure sure if we were to make a left or a right leaving out of the patient room but instead we were ridiculed and laughed at. I'm not sure if it was because we were black and it was a race thing or if the staff here is just burnt out and tired of caring for patients. One thing I do know is this was not a pleasant visit."

"Like all Beaumont facilities, this place is terrible. They cancel your appointments with very little notice (2-3 days) and can't even reassure you that they'll refill your medications so you don't go through antidepressant withdrawal. Another doctor aside from mine did end up giving me a two week supply, but it was after several days of uncertainty and anxiety over the painful withdrawal process I was expecting to have to go through. The refill didn't come through until I was on my last dose of the emergency fill provided by the pharmacy. Dr. Saad has been my primary care provider and I feel I've received little actual care. I told him I struggle with an eating disorder and he just said "see a psychiatrist about that." no help finding one or anything. If it's not his field, it's not his problem. After my experiences here and at the medical center on auto club drive, I will never set foot in another Beaumont facility as long as I can help it. They see their patients as piggy banks, and don't even respect them as such."

"It takes over a month to get one prescription from this place you go back-and-forth and back-and-forth with insurance when the doctor is supposed to fill the form out then you go to the insurance to get the form filled out and they still can’t get it right"

"I had an appointment with Dr Haddad and they canceled it without consulting with me first. When I called to reschedule the person at the counter was extremely rude. He said I wasted their time by making an appointment online instead of calling. I would not recommend going here."

"I should have reads the reviews before coming. Waited 40 minutes in the waiting room after I went up and asked how long . Oh another hour dr is running late . Well dont overbook if you cant keep appointment times . Definitely wont be returning ."
