"Kenowa Hills is like any high school... you're going to have the drama with friends, the homework, etc. But here, I found teachers that actually cared for their students and making fair accommodations for each student. They took care of some bullying issues for me and most of all, supported me through some very rough times. I was very ill my sophomore year of high school, and Kenowa set up a home-base homeschooling type deal and had a teacher come to my house and assist with hmwk and made sure I was up to speed. I did this until I was fully better and even when things got rough again, they were very quick to make sure I had the necessary tools to pass my classes. With that I also applied for their middle college program and graduated with my diploma on top on my Associate's Degree in Networking Technology. Had it not been for that program and the wonderful staff at that school...I would not be this far in my career or would have ever dreamed of accomplishing my goals at such a young age. I can't say for sure how things are now, but I am a 2014 graduate (2015 including middle college) and Katie Pennington was the principal and she was wonderful."
"My son was in kenowa district since preschool by 5th grade he was bullied and became very depressed...the school said no tolerance policy yet it continued and my son said no one at the school intervened...would not recommend as i have heard other stories of same situation as my child...in better school now and sp happy"
"The school is full of lying teachers when an altercation occurs concerning a teacher and a student. The school also is very prejudice. The school does not know how to treat every kid fairly, when it comes to a problem between students the adults show favoritism."
"Have a great program for kids interested in study in the health, technology, and business programs paying for an associates degree at Davenport University."
"its actually a good school if you actually have gone to this school. don't knock the school until you try it"
