North Park Montessori Academy

North Park Montessori Academy is a vibrant learning community located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. As one of three public Montessori schools within the Grand Rapids Public Schools district, we are deeply committed to fostering growth, curiosity, joy, and community engagement among our 450 scholars. Our primary school program serves children from Pre-K to 8th grade across two buildings, with a focus on meeting each child's developmental needs.

At North Park Montessori, we follow the Montessori Cosmic Education curriculum, which incorporates state and federal standards through engaging stories that spark curiosity and promote interdisciplinary learning. Our Montessori-certified staff use hands-on materials and multi-age classrooms to create a nurturing environment where scholars can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our institution offers a range of programs, including Primary/Children House (Pre-K to Kindergarten), Lower Elementary (1st to 3rd grade), and Upper Elementary (4th to 6th grade). We are dedicated to providing a high fidelity Montessori experience that supports the holistic development of each child.
