"Calvin is a cool place. They have old folk classes which is cool. I also got into a rather serious fender bender on the beltline right by their property which is why Google asked me to review the university. So there it is. I have pictures of the fender bender, not the university so for right now let's just leave it at a description. Thanks. Kind of them so this addition to my review. I appreciate the response from Calvin. Thank you, I am ok. To that end I remember when Calvin was a college and the calvin/Hope games of the past. I sang in their chapel, another beautiful place 20 years or so ago with the GRCMB. If I still had higher education in my future, Calvin would be a first choice for me."
"Nice space for walking and enjoying nature, but a lot of traffic noise from the beltline. Plus, because it's an ecological area you have to stay on trails. There are other parks with more freedom."
"Charged me 50.00 dollars for not obtaining a new parking pass (220.00) in my second year. I was not aware I needed to renew it as they do not send out any correspondence to advise students of this. Being a low income student, I sent a vulnerable genuine appeal to the safety department. They denied my appeal and when I asked to talk with someone in person about my situation they simply forwarded me the handbook over and over… for an institution that preaches grace, and compassion, they certainly don’t practice it when it comes to money. If your rich parents aren’t sending you to school here, beware."
"We had a lovely outing with our family. Walked around campus and through the nature park. Great way to avoid crowds, reminisce and keep the kids busy."
