"Everything in this place is home-made! I think this is the best restaurant in Metro Detroit and I love going out to eat at new places. There was a 30 min wait on a Saturday night, but well be worth it. They have a 25% discount for a veterans entree (all/any entree). Nachos appetizer; the salsa is truly delicious and fresh. Coconut shrimp entree; the coconut was not overpowering, with a nice sized piece of crisp shrimp. Bear Claw cheesecake; it was delicious and not overly sweet or rich. It was soft and smooth. Our waiter Nick was wonderful. He was attentive and friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. We will return soon..."

"Thanksgiving Dinner here was an awful experience. We're new to the area and were looking for a place to celebrate the holiday. This place was recommended and had good reviews so we gave it a shot. When we got there the ambience of the half-filled main dining room seemed nice. We, however, were not seated in the main room. We were placed in an overflow room with mismatched furniture and no decorations - terrible ambience. We were the only party of 2 in there, and were seated at a table for 10 in a room with large parties. We asked if we could be seated at one of the booths but were told they were for upcoming reservations (they were still vacant when we left). They actually said the seating arrangement had been carefully planned, so they planned to give us substandard seating for some reason. In retrospect, we should have walked out at this point. Instead, we paid too much for a so so Thanksgiving meal in a terrible environment. I'm not sure why we received such poor seating, but it ruined Thanksgiving. We would have had a better dining experience leaving and going to McDonald's."

"We had our Bridal Shower here today and it was amazing! The food wad delicious, the service was impeccable and the restaurant had a great ambiance to it. It has an Up North vibe. Jackie is amazing to work with! She deserves a raise!! I highly recommend having your shower or any event here!!!"

"The staff definitely went above and beyond. We were very pleased with the service and the kindness we received. The environment was lovely and calm, and the food was delicious. Even my picky eater child enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place if you wish to host an event or get together."

"June 2023 - came here for dinner after arriving home from a flight. Wife decided on this place and a place we haven't been to in years. Towards the back is a nice deck that has two TV's I think. We sat inside and someone was playing music. It was good and not to loud. They have a bar separate from the main room. In a private room in the back they had a large party. We could not hear them. Kids menu are for those under the age of 10. My 3 daughters had a nice list to pick from. Two chicken nuggets meals and spaghetti. All 3 come with one side, a drink, sundae and a toy from the chest. The kids had a good time and loved everything. My wife ordered the blueberry lemonade and she said it was good. She had the almond walleye and she said it was really good. She had a side salad and a potato for the side (get two sides for the main dish). I ordered the fish n chips. The fish and chips were good. I would get them again. We ordered chips n guac. That was very good! We had Jessica as our waitress and she did a great job, thank you!! Staff was nice and answered any questions we had. Overall, it was great place to visit and I would suggest you try it."
