Athenian Shish Kebob

"Me and my boyfriend are never disappointed with Athenian, and today was no different! He always gets the pork chops and I usually get the gyro. Today I got the chopped sirloin and it was fantastic! I said medium and it was perfectly medium! And it was huge, all of the portions always are. The lady running the counter was super polite and the waitstaff I encountered were very polite and courteous. Our two dinners, with all the dinner accoutrement, cost the same as if we went through a drive thru. Highly recommend, and we'll definitely be back!"

"Always get the same thing and it hits every time. Double chicken kabobs are perfectly seasoned and they get a nice char off their griddle that has me nibbling at pieces until it disappears. Been going here for years and get recognized/acknowledged by the behind counter staff. I love to cook but this is my go to for fresh take out. Can’t speak to other things on the menu but they know their kabobs!"

"They put the pita bread in with the food, which makes it soggy. Food is usually cold when I stand there for 10 extra minutes to get my carry out while they're on the phone. They sold me a bottle of dressing last time I was there that I found out was expired when got home. The sides are always horrible, canned vegetables and lousy sauce. They charge $80 for three dinners on careyout. Too bad my husband likes their lamb chops."

"I had the gyro plate and the rice had a lot of hard pieces on my plate and one of my dishes were cold as they plated spinach pie and moussaka on the same plate and apparently used a microwave which did not heat it thoroughly and made it soggy. The waitress asked if we needed refills at the end of our meal which we declined. My husband's chicken kebab was good."
