"Ordered a chicken Caesar salad carryout, arrived 30 minutes later, order was not ready, had to wait 15 minutes. Received order, a few shreds of over grilled, dried out chicken, the bottom of the crouton barrel, and no Parmesan, and the guy had to chase me into the parking lot to give me the dressing I requested on the side. Pretty hard to screw up a grilled chicken Caesar! I guess carryout orders get the kitchen screw ups! Three strikes in three months, Gilbert’s is out! Buyer beware-don’t believe the hype!"

"While the atmosphere and the service were very nice, the food was low quality- I had a salad with stale fruit, and once received a burned salmon, both which our waitress helped with and was a sweet, but made our visit to such a nice place unpleasant."
"From the moment you walk in, you feel like you’ve stepped inside a cozy, log cabin up north! I have not been here since covid happened, and the pizza is still fresh and amazing- not to mention their prices have remained very reasonable considering global supply chain inflation! I ordered a large (deep dish) Gilbert’s supreme, which was loaded with toppings and they were even willing to substitute a couple things for me. The service was fast and friendly, even for being very busy during the Monday night 1/2 off pizza special (all day; dine-in only)! Plenty of leftovers over for the week for $10! They also have other daily specials during the week. They are open 364 days each year- Christmas is the only day they’re closed (hours vary on holidays)."
"Unexpected surprise! We wound up here on a whim and really enjoyed it a lot. The food was very good and very affordable compared to what’s out there these days. Very cute restaurant makes you feel like you’re in an up north lodge! Great overall!"
