"This was my go to Chinese food back in the day when I lived in Detroit. Haven’t been able to get good Chinese food north of 8 mile in a while. Decided to drive to Detroit to check out Chan’s again. Almond chicken and shrimp fried rice, just like years ago. I had a hard time calling in to place an order, but finally got through with food ready in 15 min. Arrived and waited 45 min. Although irritated on the wait, was well worth the wait. Don’t forget the egg rolls. The best of the best. Highly recommended."

"Chans has good food. My problem is you never know when they are open. The service is quick and the food is always hot, which I like. Chans has been in this area a very long time. They could very well update the interior while you wait."

"The food was okay. Nice customer service! She didn't get frustrated at my questions or I didn't get cussed out for asking them. That is a ++. Just couldn't stand the fact that's it's Cash only. I had to leave & come back because I only had a card. It was my first time there."
