"I've always heard great things about this place. I was hungry for some Chinese food on new years eve so I thought I'd try it out. A pretty simple order. General Tso's Chicken and chicken lo mein. Both lacked and kind of flavor. The General Tsos Chicken was dry and just covered in a lackluster sauce. The lo mein seemed fresh. Just no flavor. Overall rather disappointing. Pretty much the worse Chinese food I've ever had."

"Hate to give this place a bad rating, but the food is not it. Maybe it was good at a point but by no means is it now. Ordered chicken fried rice and every TINY shard of chicken either had (1) bones or (2) fat. It’s like the poultry they use are low quality… i tried the hot and sour soup as well which was good for the first couple of bites. There was some weird gelatin pieces in it. I don’t think I could recommend this place to anyone and it’s a bit of a waste of money."

"literally paid 13$ for general tso’s chicken with shrimp fried rice. the serving size was genuinely small, the rice and egg roll had no flavor, the chicken was just not hitting either. Thought it would atleast be good with the serving size being small but nah. this was genuinely upsetting and bad. (i ordered a C16 special combination plate) please save your money and go to hong kong 1 in ferndale. Way better and way more food for the price :/"

"I've been ordering from China One for well over 2 decades. As much as I don't want to give a bad review to this place, I cannot in all fairness recommend China One any longer. The food has been on the decline for a few years. This evenings experience will be the last. While it was a very busy day, They forgot to Pack the rice that came with my order, I called them and they said they would save my number and give me a free rice, they could have discounted it from my bill, but offered this, because you know, I'm totally going in for a side of rice; c'mon now. Refund part of it, I'm not going in for an extra side of rice. No more, there are much better places with consistency to go to in the area."

"I have been eating here for 15 years, but I won't order anymore. The young kids who run the counter and answer the phone are the rudest, most impatient people I have ever met! Every single menu item ordered, is followed up with "are you done!" I just ordered 4 egg rolls, NO...I am NOT DONE. I'd like some fried rice too ...are you done?. No! I am ordering dinner for my family! Shut up and listen!!! I'll tell you when I'm done!!! I am sooo sick of being treated like my order is a nuisance. I'll call another business who appreciates large orders."
