"Horrible. I haven’t been here in years and my Grandma wanted to take me to lunch for my bday. The regular dining room was closed and we had to sit in the bar which we dealt with even though it wasn’t ideal. The service was honestly appalling. My Grandma has a gluten allergy and when I asked the waitress if the cauliflower crust was gluten free she looked like a deer in headlights. I asked again and she said she would have to check and let me know AND NEVER CAME BACK TO LET US KNOW. It was and she rang it in but I have a serious issue with a restaurant that doesn’t take food allergies serious. She said she was new and I completely understand that and I don’t expect everyone to be as educated as I am, but I also expect that if you’re working in a restaurant, you at least pretend to care and take it seriously and find out for me. We waited forever for a water refill. We waited forever for boxes. We waited forever for the check. She asked us three separate times if we wanted one or separate, and when she finally brought them, they were separate and we had to ask her to put them back together. I watched her give other tables around us great service, so I don’t know what the issue was maybe it’s because we were two women but I can assure you after all these years of not going here and trying it again. I will not be going back and I would advise anyone who has food allergies to be very careful."

"Went for a lunch with colleagues, enough variety on the menu for everyone to get a good meal. I had the burnt end tacos and they were delicious. Everyone was satisfied by the serving and quality. Easy parking. Helpful servers. Chill pub/bar and grill atmosphere."

"A pretty decent bar and restaurant near OU. I've been here a ton of times over the years as I'm an OU grad. Always came later for food and drinks after events but this time I came for lunch. Service was pretty decent for the lunch crowd. We ordered a few beers and some apps. The apps were all really good. Chicken tenders, fried pickles, and spin dip. The spin dip was just ok but the pickles and tender were awesome. They had a really good variety of sauces. We had spicy ranch, BBQ, and sweet chilli. I can't stress how great it is to have sauce options with variety over the standard ranch, bbq, honey mustard heeeyyy macerania. The beer list is phenomenal. 4 pages of local, domestic, and craft. Really a highlight of coming here. I do recommend Red Ox as the best place near OU"

"Nice place. Clean, quiet in the late afternoon. Great burgers, sandwiches. Full bar. I had the French Dip. My favorite part is the outdoor lobby with all those fun machines. Remember to bring a few extra quarters for the kids."

"Great atmosphere and excellent service. They have a pretty varied menu so there's definitely something for almost everyone. The food was great and prices not too bad, either. Also, they have 40 different kinds of craft beer on tap from all over Michigan. And really clean and we'll decided bathrooms, as well. I would definitely go back here and if you're reading this, you probably should check it out."
