"We went to this Buddy’s twice (one lunch, one dinner) on our 2023 Annual Detroit Pizza Tour. Both times were great!! Pizza was very tasty and Buddy Bread is always a hit! Definitely less crowded at lunch, so go then, if trying to avoid crowds. My family in the area went to the Warren location at 13 and Van Dyke and said that location is going a bit downhill, but the university location was wonderful. If you go to buddy’s often, be sure to get the app to claim your rewards ($10 reward after spending $200)."
"This visit was a disappointment, usually this is a very nice experience. I called in for a pick up. The young girl that answered was very unprofessional. I told her I would be there for my pick up between 5:15 and 5:30, and she responded with "I need to know what time you'll be here". I told her I'd pick up my pizza at 5:30, when I arrived at that time they made me wait 10 min while they made my pizza. There is a side entrance for pick ups, I did not know this and went in the front. I don't know if it was the same girl that took my order, but when she told me where the pick up was, she had an attitude. You can see from the pictures that the pizza is mostly sauce, very little cheese on top. The square edges were nice and crispy."
