"Chose Corewell for CT image because more appointments available than U of M Health West, but now we have to wait two weeks for radiology report. U of M radiology reports are available within two days."

"So today I went to Spectrum Health South Pavilion because I have symptoms of pneumonia. I didn’t want to go to the ER unless needed due to not having insurance. I explained to the nurse my symptoms including chest pains, hard to breath, bad taste in my mouth, fever and cough. In addition I am a type 1 diabetic who’s sugar was 350 at visit. All the nurses did was give me a urine test which didn’t even check for signs of pneumonia. No blood test, no X-ray, no Covid test, no RSV test or any other test was given. Then I was told I didn’t have pneumonia and if symptoms worsen to go to hospital. How could they possibly know that? Why is it so hard to get help regardless of coverage to save my own life! This is the 2nd time I was refused any treatment for infections and other issues which is making my health worse! Everyone is quick to send me off due to no coverage. Once I get my insurance going I will Never go to any Corewell health care provider! Update 1/21/24: I forgot to mention I was given a inhaler with Albuterol on the day of my visit. I was told to take 4 puffs a day till empty. This I was told would help my pain symptoms and clear my chest. For the next 4 days my sugars levels Doubled! Had to take 40 units of Novlin 70/30 and 28 units of fast acting insulin Without meals to keep from going into coma. I look up what medications reduce the affects of Novlin 70/30 and the first thing listed..Albuterol! I stop taking inhaler! Still having chest pains, short of breath, fever, nausea. I really need help now!"

"Teresa and Kendall in radiology/MRI are the best! Most of the time, I am in and out before my appointment time or shortly thereafter, which for a 30+ minute MRI procedure is pretty impressive. And Kendall is one of a VERY short list of people that can put an IV in my arm in one try. It's never fun getting procedures done but they make it easier for sure."
