"I have heard of French Toast Bistro for some years now but I never noticed I had been driving past the unassuming storefront for years! It’s tucked into a strip mall on 5 Mile but I was pleasantly surprised by all of the dishes we tried! Our service was also fantastic! The servings are massive and everything tastes homemade. We shared the biscuits and gravy, lobster omelette and beignets. I don’t often order biscuits and gravy out because I think homemade sausage gravy and biscuits are impossible to beat but French Toast proved me wrong. Their biscuits and gravy are definitely worth a try! Flaky, fresh biscuits, ample sausage in the gravy, and I loved that it was served with a fresh micro green salad with a light dressing and the fluffiest, most perfect egg scramble. The lobster omelette had huge pieces of lobster! Again, I was surprised by this. Most places hardly include any at all and this was real lobster meat. I like that the omelette was also paired with the micro green salad with light dressing and delicious cheesy grits. The beignets were my least favorite dish but perhaps I was just too full at this point. I would still recommend ordering them if you’re in the mood for a sweet treat."

"Today was my first time going. We had Jess as our waitress. She was nice, sweet, and very helpful. We had a variety of things, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint! I do recommend trying and calling them for reservations because they are busy. I would most definitely be back. Me and my mother. I didn't get a picture of the potato pancake, sadly."

"The food was so good! I have zero complaints about anything. Those were the best grits I have ever had. The Corn Flake French toast was drool worthy. It kinda reminded me of a crispy churro. My daughter had the Red Velvet French toast. She didn’t eat all of the cream cheese but I’m sure the extra amount is a bonus for someone else. I also had the Witches Brew martini, it was fancy looking and strong."
