"Ordered a bunch of pizzas and salads for our company holiday luncheon. Noticed immediately the pizza is not the quality it used to be. I've been eating Buddy's pizza for 40+ years. I hope they realize people are noticing the cost cutting and reduction in quality and toppings. I don't think I'll be back. Hugely disappointed. One positive is the antipasto salad hasn't changed (yet). I beg of you Buddy's, please don't go cheap on the salad too!! The restaurant is great and the staff is pleasant and hard working. Just disappointed this staple of the SE Michigan area, a fixture of the community, is beginning to suffer the fate of so many other products being cheapened over the years for one reason or another."

"Awesome detroit style pizzas. Great service and pizzas served super hot!! Their garlic bread was crispy and extra fried wedges with light spice was show stopper. Tried detroit style pizza for the first time and loved it!! Better than deep dish"

"Made a special trip to Buddies in Plymouth today for take out to feed the family. It's been awhile since I've been to Buddies but I often think of going since it's always been so good. Our pizza today was terrible. Almost no sauce, crust was crunchy but completely missing the usual caramelized brown goodness, crust was also dry and dense as if it were stale, cheese was not anything special. I don't know what they changed but they better change it back quickly. Really disappointed."

"Sorry, but may be not the best pizza for take outs. I use to love buddy's. It's been a while since I had one. So grabbed one for take out. Returned home to find an oily extra tough bread they called pizza, Lacking flavor. Definitely not worth the premium. The take out service was convenient, the staff was friendly. The Plymouth location is new and vibrant. For those people like me.. who are wondering “All Corner” (extra $4) is exactly 8 square size, but you just get crust corners on all the slices ( 2 x 4 square pizzas )."
