Thai Spoon 2

"Thai fried rice mild was really good. It had flavor and spice. The first time we ordered here, we placed our typical order for medium spice which was very hot and I couldn’t even eat my meal. The second time we said mild spice and this was like medium from Mali Thai or other Thai places."

WOW! what a delightful surprise we tried 4 different dishes and they were all perfectly prepared to spice level and presentation unique to Thai Spoon 2. The staff was friendly, food was and fresh delicious, good value, and everyone was so pleased. The amount of chicken in one scoop of our entrees was more than the whole dish in the other place T.O. mentioned above. Thai Spoon 2 actually cares about customers here and making them happy and getting the order right. Recommend you give them a try for a great food experience and you don't have to go downtown."

"Lacking a good breakfast to start my day, I was quite hungry. I ordered shrimp fresh rolls, wonton soup, and Thai fried rice with chicken to feed my now audible belly. Bill totaled $23 and change. Was told it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. Woman working was very pleasant and offered a to go menu as I was paying. I asked about the OG Thai spoon location(with this aptly named Thai Spoon 2) and wouldn’t you know, it is a mile from my place of employment in Ann Arbor - who knew? Anyways, about the food. It was good. Damn good. The fresh rolls were terrific and huge! Came with two in an order. Wonton soup had a great flavor and for a single serving had plentiful dumplings for my liking. The Thai fried rice, medium spice level, was hot both temperature and in its flavor profile. Lots of carrots, peas and onions to accompany. Plenty of protein - in my case chicken. I was only able to eat 1/2 of everything and was satisfied completely. Myself and my now muted belly watched football the remainder of the day contemplating eating the leftovers at every commercial break."

"The spice level is SO hot. The medium is the hottest medium I've ever had in my life. The food is great, and tastes better than Mali Thai was but none of us can eat it because it's just too spicy. We will be back, but we will be ordering mild for the first time ever. Wonderful people working, and it really is good - they just have a heavy spice hand so be careful."
