Shakers Bar and Grill - Wixom

"We went here for a dinner and ordered the surf and turf. We ordered the steak medium rare and after an hour the food finally came and both steaks were more than well done, it was pretty much "congratulations". I would have asked for it to be sent back but the server never came back to check on the food and she disappeared to the back. The shrimp was burned on one side and fine on the other. Vegetable mix was also burned. I ended up trying to eat some of the meal (just about half) because I was starving. I finally tracked down the manager and they refused to comp the bill because I "ate the meal". Definitely won't be back. Rude manager and staff. Long wait for food and everything was gross. Vibe in the place is the only good thing I can say. Nice sports bar vibe."

"Food was decent. The place was dirty, cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, decorations above tables were vey dusty. When we sat down at our table I had to go back to the host stand after 10-15 mins of waiting for a server. It was not busy at all. Overall food was good service was very very slow, establishment was dusty. Edit: 2/24 came back again for second chance, much better service! Waitress was awesome and fish and chips was the best I’ve had in a while!"

"Excellent service at the bar by Erin. Great atmosphere, lighting levels are good, and restaurant very clean. Had the best Buffalo chicken tenders - they were tossed in Buffalo sauce and blue cheese crumbles. The pictures don’t do them justice. The Potato Soup was good and served nice and hot."

"Been here several times for lunch with my work friends but stopped as it was just too greasy of food. The taste is actually really good, but the excess grease was starting to hinder the flavor of the dishes. It gets very busy at lunch and the servers are very friendly and attentive. Prices are not bad. It is a decent place to try."

"This place was delicious! It's a bit hidden from the road and could be easily missed but the food is fantastic. We had the pesto pizza, the pretzel bowl appetizer, and the kids chicken strips. Everything was delicious. The kids chicken was better than any restaurant kids meal I've tasted before. The breading on the chicken was really delicious and chicken tasted like real chicken. Service and atmosphere was nice. Definitely worth a trip and will be back!"
