"If there was a best average, this place wins. Nothing tasted bad and also Nothing was to flavorful either. The guacamole was pureed and didn't have season, I mean no salt or pepper or garlic or lime or anything... pretty basic. The choriqueso was ok. Not bad but also as top notch basic as it gets. Overall, this place was not bad. Just average. With 5 million Mexican restaurants in the region we'll continue to try more."

"I came for a late lunch after work and the staff was super friendly and seated me right away. The waitress I had was very attentive and the kitchen had my food out right away. I got the chicken street tacos and they were delicious! Four filled me up and the chips and salsa that came before my meal were perfect. The salsa is spicy but not unpleasantly so and the chips are perfectly crisp. I'll definitely be back!"

"UPDATED REVIEW: I have no idea how many times we have eaten here now! Always great food and service! Highly recommend giving this a try. First visit, recommended from a friend, totally worth it! Tried a chicken sope, pork sope, chicken quesadilla, chicken flaunts meal and horchata. All was very good, service was fast and place was very clean. We will be back!"

"My coworkers and I visit El Fogon nearly every Friday for lunch for the best Mexican food around. Yes the food is to die for and will always leave you feeling happily satisfied, but it's also really the staff that makes this little restaurant such a gem. I believe in total they have 5 people who work there so you move from acquaintances to friends super fast. The restaurant is always clean and the wait time is never too long. First impression might be to question the size of the parking lot and maybe the inside of the building, but I think the size is what really allows them to maintain such a personal touch. It's beautifully decorated with a seasonal tree that they're always redecorating for the current holiday. A must try if you haven't! 10+/10 LOVE!"
