"What a great name and food! It's an old Applebee's/Chili's or TGIF, converted and turned into a BBQ joint. I believe it's run by the same family that does the Flippin Cow and Chubby Trout. Both are great, non-chain restaurants. I highly recommend all 3 restaurants. The food is excellent. Well proportioned, great sauces. Service was good, even on Valentines Day. Get the red velvet cake! It's quality food, real and served quickly. Good flavors, worth checking out."

"Absolutely delicious food and great portions. I wish I would’ve had some salt for the mac & cheese but other than that everything was perfect. The butt Mac was delicious, the pulled pork was so tender and flavorful. The cornbread was everything I was hoping it would be and the butter that they give you just sets it over the top."

"Rick our server was amazing on V-day. The food is amazing. Only thing we will pass on is the brisket (too fatty on some parts and very dry), pulled pork (a little dry) and pork belly (too sweet). The smoked wings and ribs were fantastic. The pretzel bite and beer cheese was our fave. Also, the jumbo cocktail shrimp with the ghost pepper cocktail sauce."

"Great food & service! Hubby had the Dr Pepper brisket and smoked baby yukons. He loved them both. I had the We B Jammin burger and I was happy. Not everyone can do peanut butter properly on burgers, but this was good. Lemon drop martini, yum! They have an in-house pastry chef and we had the blackberry bread pudding. It was a good date night and we will be back!"

"My experience was horrible..frozen food cold food nothing fresh. So I went to Smokin Fattys about 3 days ago.. me and my boyfriend had very high hopes for this place. We see the pictures on Facebook of the food all the time and really wanted to go. So we went walked in and the place was very nice..we were greeted and walked to a booth. Ordered drinks and food. We spent a good of amount of money at this place. We ordered the 30 dollar crab boil, the birra tacos, beans, and a small order of rib tips. We get are food everything looked okay besides the seafood boil. The shrimp was frozen the potatoes were all mush and the corn was frozen still. We sent it back it came back the same. We didn’t even touch it. The crab legs were fine. The rib tips were cold to the touch, the queso was cold. The beans were amazing my favorite part honestly, also the tacos were lovely. After we finished we sat for a good 20 minutes while the waitress was giggling with other waitresses and sitting at the bar on her phone. Once she decided to finally come to us we told her about the sea food boil which she then went to talk to a “manger” witch we didn’t see at all not once the whole time, about the boil. We got half off for the boil still ended up paying 50 dollars for it witch was fine we weren’t looking to get money off just wanted good food..still tipped 20 percent as I am a waitress and understand something’s that happened in restaurants..I don’t mean to be negative but this was my experience at this place. First time going and last won’t ever step foot in there again.."
