"I'm here often at the E.R for cyclical vomiting and the experiences vary so drastically. I'll either get the sweetest nurse I've ever met at this place (Thank you, Payge! I would give just her five stars if I could.) Or, much more typically, I'll get an absolute monster of a nurse who treats me like a drug addict "looking for narcotics" while I'm actively vomiting and can't keep anything down. I assume they clock me as some sort of junkie because I have tattoos and a face piercing. Or it seems from previous reviews here that they treat everyone who steps foot in the E.R with an issue as a junkie. During a visit last year, I spoke out against how I was being treated, and actually had a nurse even call me a 'danger to staff' and had me escorted out by the OSF security team because I had a panic attack. I NEVER have threatened or EVER laid a finger on anyone. ESPECIALLY NOT A MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL. Absolutely mind boggling, and terrifying that a medical professional would do that to a patient who's experiencing extreme distress. It's made me extremely hesitant to go to the E.R here after this. Anyway, 1 star, because It's a 30/70 shot on if you're going to be treated like an actual human being or a worthless drug addict here. Odds aren't good. Unfortunately, those local to Escanaba are forced to take this gamble during emergencies."

Although we have no indication of actual fraud or misuse of your information, we are providing you with information about the incident, our response to it, and resources available to you to help protect your information, should you feel it appropriate to do so. What Happened. On July 26, 2023, we were alerted to an earlier alleged compromise of our MOVEit Transfer server in connection with software vulnerabilities made public by the developer of the MOVEit Transfer tool. MOVEit is a third-party software tool that collects, stores, manages, and distributes information between organizations and external entities. We use MOVEit to store and manage data transfers for the services we provide. We had previously installed all published patches and security upgrades immediately upon such patches being made available by Progress Software, the maker of the MOVEit Transfer tool and conducted an examination of our systems and networks using all information available to determine the potential impact of the published vulnerabilities presence on the MOVEit Transfer server and the security of data housed on the server and confirmed that there was no indication of any compromise at that time. Upon being alerted to the alleged issue, we moved quickly to launch an additional investigation with the assistance of third-party eybersecurity specialists and using additional information that had been discovered in the intervening period, to determine the potential for a hidden presence of vulnerabilities on the MOVEit Transfer server and the security of data housed on the server. After a full reconstruction of our systems and historical data, our investigation determined on August 11, 2023 that an unknown actor exploited software vulnerabilities, accessed the MOVEit Transfer server on May 30, 2023, and exfiltrated certain data from the MOVEit Transfer server during that time. We subsequently undertook a time-consuming and detailed reconstruction and review of the data stored on the server at the time of this incident to understand the contents of that data and to whom that data relates. Subsequently, we have learned that data related to you was present on the impacted server at the time of the event. What Information Was Involved. While we have no evidence that any of your information has been misused, we are notifying you and providing information and resources to help protect your personal information. The following types of your information may have impacted: your name and Date of Birth, Treatment Information/Diagnosis. WHY DID I NOT RECEIVE A NOTICE OF MY PERSONAL INFO WAS APPARENTLY SHARED BY A THIRD PARTY I HAD NO IDEA YOU GAVE MY INFO TO. I find this quite disturbing. Not a very Christian way to conduct business. Especially when people trust you. Take down your crosses if you’re not truly going to practice what you preach. We the people of this area should be concerned about your lack of care for our safety of our person and private medical information."

"My daughter had a medical emergency and not only did the walk in department immediately recognize complications and referred us to the emergency department. The emergency department was quick in realize that she needed care that was outside their scope of practice and transferred her to Green Bay. The whole experience was traumatic enough, I’m extremely grateful for the professional medical team. As a parent going through the worse day of my life they were so gracious and compassionate. Thank you OSF for helping my baby."

"I have had too many negative interactions in the past few months to recount fully. But, the snails pace at which they get things done is ridiculous. I asked for an endoscopy to check on an ongoing condition that had been flaring up, back in December of 22. After several other tests and needless appointments I finally got my scope in April 2023. I got there over a half hour early and still did not see my doctor until 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment. Afterward was given no information or followup instructions. Called the office with questions, and was told that the doctor doesn't answer questions over the phone and that I would have to take more time off work to schedule another appointment just to get the information that I should have been given before I ever left the hospital. The nursing and support staff for the most part has been great. Which in my opinion is the only redeeming factor of this group. I wont go into too much detail on how they mishandled my 7 year olds allergic reaction. The short version is that he was given an insecticide treatment without any evidence of an insect infestation. This made his rash spread all over his body and it was over a month before we were able to get in to a Dermatologist. It's no wonder that most people would rather drive to Green Bay or Marinette. I think that my family and I will be doing the same from now on."
