"The location was very convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. The black out blinds were AMAZING! The electric fireplace was super warm and gave the room a cozy feeling. The king bed was super comfortable, as were the pillows. The water pressure was awesome and the water was nice and hot! The ONLY complaint, is that the shower is not made for tall people. I'm 5'8" and I managed ok. But if you're taller, it might be a little awkward. Overall an excellent experience."

"The staff at the TL were very warm and friendly. The room was clean and spacious for a single queen. The "Continental Breakfast" was MUCH better than I anticipated. Waffles, fresh cereal and an assortment of bagels, muffins and donuts were fresh and plentiful. The only drawback was that nothing was plugged in in my room (refrigerator, coffee maker, etc). It took me a while to manhandle the refrigerator out of its little cubby to get to the power cord, to feed it around the back and plug it in. Oh, and the bed was VERY firm. But other than those minor things my stay was very pleasant."

"I don't need much when I'm gone but wow did you falsely advertise this hotel Idk where you begin, from the room that's half remodeled, the dirty tub or the spa that doesn't exist My stay started with reprogramming a tv fixing another item in the room I do this for a living so when I go out of town I don't want to be the maintenance man. Then come morning the only thing I look forward to is a breakfast and coffee it doesn't have to be much but the reason I stay with Wyndham is because there are usually great breakfast just like this one advertises. I barely got a cup of coffee when I let the front desk know he walked away and was more concerned about his money he was making for another room. Cereal looks like it comes from one of the runts dispensers like when you were a kid and put a quarter in it and the options are less than satisfying. Then there are I think a mini muffin option bread and Waffles that is not what you advertise. I can't even get a cup of coffee I had to go down to the gas station. Yes you supply it in the room but I want it ready and available like it says 24/7. I will never stay here again I stayed three times and this is just a shack. Should be called Shadyside Inn. I'm pretty certain Whoever has your franchise is running you for your money because it does not represent even a third of what you advertise on the website for this exact location. I understand that you have a parent website but your website for Escanaba is falsely put and I understand why others stay different places it wouldn't take much for you to offer a little more at breakfast since you are lacking everywhere else in the amenities. Just disappointed I work too hard for my money to be taken for it"

"Everything is woeful. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. The rooms are very clean and cosy. Trust the staff. I left a $20 on the bed, and it was never touched!! Definitely will come back every time I'm in U.P., Michigan."

"I would give this place zero stars if I could. Booked 2 nights. Checked in went to the room and it was disgusted. Hair in the tub, non smoking room that smelt like smoke and being an asthmatic had an attack, plus all the damage to the room that hasnt been fixed from previous guests.Left right away and was told I was a liar and will not even refund me. So I am paying for a room for two nights that I am not staying in. This place is a joke and a scam. Plus the pictures online like nothing like the hotel I walked into. Plus I paid extra for a what was labeled suites it wasn't. Do not stay here"
