Reviews
"I stayed in Greenville for a couple nights and chose Winter Inn based on the positive reviews that I saw online, I was not disappointed - the room was clean, the food was great, and the staff was welcoming and hospitable! I definitely would recommend!"
"Can't help to say it but the wings are the best in town. Favorite sauce is their Gochujang! Great menu, an awesome nostalgic atmosphere because of the historic building and a wonderful outdoor patio area that seems to be in another place and in another time because of its charming seclusion."
"The Winter Inn in Greenville, Michigan, offers a delightful blend of historic charm and modern amenities. As a locally owned establishment, it exudes a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it a standout in the heart of downtown Greenville. The first floor hosts a bar and restaurant where guests can enjoy a meal in a cozy, inviting setting. Stepping into The Winter Inn is like taking a step back in time, yet without sacrificing comfort. The hotel has preserved its historic character, which adds to its unique appeal. The rooms are comfortable and clean, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. What truly makes The Winter Inn shine, though, is its staff. Their commitment to service complements the innโs charming environment, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a blend of historical ambiance, comfort, and exceptional service."
"The pot roast is freaking amazing! Before tonight, I would have said I don't like pot roast. This was a game-changer! I had actually ordered the prime rib. I'm not sure if I just got a bad cut or what, but it was REALLY tough which was sad because the flavor was excellent. Luckily my husband had gotten the pot roast. I tried his and instantly knew what I was going to ask for to replace the not-so good prime rib. The server was super sweet about it and immediately replaced the main dish. The green beans tasted very fresh and were cooked perfectly. The rice pilaf was also good. The building is absolutely gorgeous with a ton of history. I could probably spend a day just walking around looking at this mini museum. That being said, I would not sit near a window in the winter. It was quite chilly. There are plenty of TV's for watching sports, but there's also more "romantic" seating elsewhere. Parking is fairly limited if you want to be near the door, but there's plenty of parking if you're willing to walk a tiny bit. Overall, it was very good and we will definitely return. Side note: If you'd like to save a few dollars on the bill, check Groupon. They have deals on there fairly often. ETA: We did not stay at the inn, just went for dinner."
"4 generations of my family have celebrated many birthdays here. Great food, very safe for gluten free diets and lots of charm. The staff is amazing. I have stayed in the rooms before during a quilt retreat. The hallway floors are very odd. The rooms need a little updating. There can be a lot of noise for the rooms over the bar."
