"To start off you get one “free” round of chips and salsa. As a heads up. The over all experience unfortunately is 3 stars, not often do I give low reviews but just a couple things were kind of disappointing in a different way than I’m used to. Starting off the salsa was extremely poor, I think if you added less water and more actual ingredients you would have a much better result than what you can see in this picture- the chimichangas were pretty good however the “beef” is super low quality, and minced. The carne asada taco is a staple of Mexican cuisine but it was utterly disappointing, the onions and cilantro were fresh. However the “steak” was minced and served lukewarm. Not only that these taco shells are small, but I received barely any steak. Like I understand inflation but give a good product I’m willing to pay a good price."

"Hit the spot! Service was amazing! seated and drink order taken immediately. Food ordered and drinks on the table in 2 minutes....and food arrived in less than 10! Steak and Chicken dishes were both tasty! We'll definitely be back!!!"

"The food wasn't as authentic as I would have liked, but I get it. They have to satisfy the taste of the Allendale community. The prices are very reasonable, nice selection to choose from, and the restaurant was very clean. Our server was courteous and knowledgeable in the choices of food."

"Great family-owned Mexican restaurant located not too far from the Grand Valley State University campus. Very colorful atmosphere with each table and chair having its own Aztec-themed artwork - you could spend hours going from chair to chair just to admire the individual scenes! The restaurant offers a wide variety of Mexican favorites, from tacos to burritos to other classic dishes. Non-meat options are also available for those who may so desire. The meals are served quickly and are absolutely delicious! Portions are generous giving you good value for the money. While the servings may look like a lot, I found myself making sure there were no left-overs! A full-sized bar also serves many spirits, wine and beer. I was intrigued by the "Margarita Tower" and may have to come prepared to try it next visit (bring "helpers"). Plenty of free parking and is conveniently located to a variety of other local businesses. Well worth the visit!"
