"Possibly the worst place to shop in Muskegon, spend your money elsewhere. Rude staff, shelf’s are a mess and stains on the floors and walls. I haven’t been to save-a-lot since I was a child and thought it would be a fun trip going down the isles I couldn’t go down and get the snacks my mom wouldn’t let me when I was young. Upon checkout the lady that was checking me out asked me “box or bag” I hesitated for a second as I didn’t know what to say and she said “you took too long” and started to place the items in the cart that was next to her. Upon leaving I assumed I could just take the cart as the items I paid for where in it but she quickly grabbed the cart. She didn’t even explain why I couldn’t use the cart she just rudely said “you didn’t bring a cart up here”. I just was shocked and didn’t even say a thing. My girlfriend said “Okay?” And she rudely said “OKAY” back and made some rude remark. TLDR: would rather give my money to a major name store like Walmart instead of one of the smaller names like this place."

"I had to go here because I needed a couple things on my way home. I have been in other Save A Lots and they were a bit dirty so I wasn't expecting much at this location. Thankfully it was pretty clean. The store was well organized and we ended up getting several sweet items to boot. I added on a pumpkin pie and my daughter added on a new York cheesecake. They are pretty tasty and were well priced. There were a lot of people checking out and they opened a second lane which was nice. I give only 4 stars because the main item I was going there for was not carried."
