"Great food, service and drinks!!! Seafood pasta selections are fabulous along with a solid wine list. I have been here a few times over the past 5 years and have always had a fantastic dining experience. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Although, Traverse City is a seasonal resort town without a ton of professional wait staff (for the that reason)...so maybe give the kids working at some of these places a break."

"We enjoyed our night out at Sorellina. We had margarita pizza, butternut squash bisque, Salsiccia Italiana x 2, and salad. The food was all very good, came out hot and correct. Our server was good and when we ordered a beer that was out she went to their next door bar and got some. The atmosphere is nice as well. We will go back and recommend this restaurant to others."

"Drinks were good but nothing over the top. We got the bread for two and the oil vinaigrette was perfect and the amount was good. The lasagna was filling and good. The margarita pizza was a good size for the price as well."

"We visited Saturday night. Hour wait to be seated which was perfectly fine and expected with no reservation. We had a nice glass of wine at the bar. You can sit at either bar (Slate) and they both have their own great vibe. We loved the ambiance and decor. It is upscale but not pretentious. The food was the best and far exceeded our expectations. The staff was wonderful and while they were all very hard-working and busy, they were also very friendly and attentive. You know management is doing something right when you have such an amazing staff. It was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time and we will for sure be back."

"We enjoyed dinner at this downtown restaurant. Drinks were decent. Food wasn’t memorable, but it was good. We had short ribs (very tender), eggplant Parmesan (the best dish) and Salsiccia. We hoped for the gnocchi, but they were sold out when we got there. Good service and a pleasant evening."
