"I recently purchased a gift card for my Mom’s birthday (6/3/23) at the Rogers City location. We went to use it (7/14/23) only to be told they don't accept gift cards any longer. I was given a number to call (the Alpena location) for further help. The individual that answered the phone stated the card machines in fact are not working and will likely not be fixed any time soon due to vendor problems. She stated i was “welcome to bring it in to Alpena (40+ minutes away) but to be sure I had a receipt as my word/the physical gift card were not enough proof to prove how much money was on the card. I requested a follow up call from the manager and was met with a fair amount of attitude/hesitation. I thought this would be a nice gift for my Mom, and while I understand errors happen in business, the real let down is in how the staff handled the situation. I really liked this shop and hope there’s some resolution in the future. (Ive left my number for the owner and will update my review upon follow-up)."
"We stopped here a little after lunch. Good brats with a nice selection of toppings. They were out of a couple of the Brat choices ( hence -1 star ). We tried the Festive and Everything brats with sourcrout and pickled onions. With the good weather we were able to sit outside in the sun to enjoy our meal."
"Brat good but cold, roaster not keeping them hot. Didn't want a bun, had knives but no forks so couldn't cut & eat it. Disappointed after it was highly recommended we stop & eat there."

"A trip up north wouldn't be complete without Nowicki's! The festival sausage is on point, full of flavor, juicy but not messy. The German bratwurst has the taste and flavor you hope for! Perfect quick little lunch, easy to eat in the vehicle. Affordability can't be beat. Great designs on the apparel and accessories. I had to pick myself up a baseball hat."
