"Thank you to the Jackson's Pit staff family! As working travelers, this bar gave us a place to call home while we were in town! The staff is very knowledgeable about the food, of which is fabulous from appetizers to burgers and salads too! The staff is beyond wonderful, so friendly and fun. Wait, I can't forget the locals, they are kind and amazing as well! Just an all around great experience and atmosphere. We hold Kate, Kat & Becca dear in our memories & hearts! Don't want to be social? No fear! You can also choose a table away from the bar, the food is worth it! (So are the drinks, and the pours are good too.) (Can't wait to get my sweatshirt I ordered!!!)"

"Feel like I was incredibly ripped off by them. Got two grilled chicken sandwiches for almost 30 bucks which felt overpriced but I got fries as well and these days who knows what food will cost ya. But not only were the grilled chicken sandwiches covered in the cheapest mayo I’ve ever tasted, the buns were stale. Also my fries were cold and are literally just normal frozen fries that they add nothing to—including no ketchup in a to go order. I cannot believe this place has such a good rating. Maybe people are drunk when they leave their reviews? Because I could’ve had this same meal at a similar or even lower price at home and it would taste a thousand times better. Also the vibe is local dive bar but you’re paying tourist prices. Not at all impressed. Wish I could take back the tip I left. Avoid if possible."

"The burger was pretty good. Ordered onion rings and got 4. Ordered tomatoes on my burger and it was razor thin. Paid extra for both. Ordered the Orange shanty tap beer, came “flat” and not very cold. When we talked to the server about the beer she responded your next beer will come from the same cooler. When asked about the 4 onion rings for $2.50 she said yes that’s correct. Very disappointed."

"They know how to do a burger right. Plus salads and other sandwiches. Nachos are fabulous. It's a great place to eat!"

"Great atmosphere and food. Draft beer menu was robust, lots of food choices. Was underwhelmed by the portion of French fries served with the kid's meals and adult entree, that was the only negative. Has a stage for live music, but we went early and mid-week."
