"Coffee was fantastic! Lemon blueberry scone delicious! All their pastries and food looked wonderful. Definitely a Cafe to visit."
"Fresh delicious sandwiches & salads . The cardamom coffee is a must try ."
"Ever since Nisu opened it’s been a staple weekly treat for me and my fiancé! We love to walk down and stop in for some coffee and pastries, and boy are those pastries good. I really recommended the cardamom coffee they have, but my fiancé loves the the Finnish smooth brew too. They have two flavors of non-dairy creamer available (yay!) and “sugar in the raw” along with stevia, so dietary restrictions in terms of coffee are well met! The pastries though? Amazing! Definitely more European (surprise I know haha) so they don’t rely on super sweet or lots of sugar like you expect with more American takes on European pastries. in my opinion that makes them better, they sit better in your tummy, mouth, and just make you feel better all round. There’s also a huge variety of pastries with an emphasis on Finnish pastries and recipes. Super fun! I love the Finnish blueberry “pie”, it’s not what you traditionally think of as a pie but it’s delightfully light and yummy. The log rolls are awesome, especially the lingonberry one. Our favorite pastry has to be the chocolate croissant though, not too sweet, not too heavy, just a nice little chocolate treat. For lunch I recommend the Finnish Lax Sandwich, heads up though they are generally open face! You can tell this bakery is a labor of love between the owner, employees, and family. She works so hard and it shows, go support her! Stop in, get some coffee, and a sweet treat! Edit: Forgot to mention, the prices are very reasonable! I’ve gotten 3-4 pastries for about $10 before!"

"Nisu Bakery & Cafe lets you experience Finnish charm. Delightful fragrances of rich coffee, authentic Finnish soups, salads, & sandwiches, and friendly welcomes complement displays of freshly made pastries and colorful imported ceramics and textiles. Spending time here helps visitors understand why Finland has been rated the world's happiest place for six consecutive years."
