Walgreens Pharmacy

"This is the worst Walgreen in Akron. Their pharmacy hours are a joke. Twice they have failed to give me my prescription in a timely manner. Why have a pharmacy if you are going to be "too busy" to fill a prescription over 24 hours after it was sent? And they once closed hours early and never contacted anyone with a prescription pickup. Not having my meds sent me to the ER"

"This is an extremely unreliable pharmacy. Multiple times they’ve put my insulin on hold for being out of stock, when going in person and asking them to check because I was totally out it was “oh whoops looks like it is in stock and we forgot to update it”. Multiple times I’ve ran out of insulin because they simply didn’t care to fill the prescription or communicate with my doctors. Multiple times I’ve had prescriptions mysteriously disappear from my file way before possible expiration. Multiple times I’ve had to drive almost an hour away to get my insulin because they are often out of stock of products that their systems says they have. These people simply do not care about the health or lives of their clients. I recommend not getting your prescriptions here if they are essential to your health."

"I waited at this pharmacy 10 minutes listening to the pharmacist and team members joke about yellow "party plates" (DUI plates), only to not even get the most important Rx I needed - my INSULIN. It was accidentally filled at another location so I either had to drive there or wait for a couple days for them to get the Rx in stock at this location. I ended up driving to the other location where it was supposedly filled and they said they didn't have it either. Everyone was pointing fingers and nobody was helping. Just a horrible way to do business... I'm cancelling all my prescriptions here and moving to MAIL ORDER through my insurance company."
