"I called Heileman to get a price quote for a ring resizing. I was quoted a price of $60 over the phone. I took the ring to a graduate gemologist, who spent 45 minutes assessing the ring and told me the ring looked fine. A few days later I brought the ring in to Heileman. The jewelers at Heileman told me there was something wrong with the setting and that if I wanted to proceed with the resizing, the price for resizing would now be $90. The graduate gemologist had not indicated there was a problem with the setting. I reminded the jewelers at Heileman that I was quoted a price of $60 on the phone, but they insisted the price would now be $90. I felt this price increase was unwarranted, but despite this I decided to leave the ring with Heileman for resizing because I didn't want to spend additional time researching jewelers and taking the ring to another jeweler. Heileman never advised me to take the ring elsewhere to get it resized. For a price of $90, they were happy to do the resizing. The statements in their response below are not accurate representations of what happened in our interaction. The original price quote provided by Heileman was $60 and they refuse to acknowledge this. An employee from Heileman called me several times to ask me to remove my review and explained to me that a negative review hurts their business. After I stopped answering his calls, he began calling me from different numbers. This is not a professional approach to resolving an issue with a dissatisfied customer."

"My husband bought me a pair of earrings from them for an anniversary gift. We had my wedding band custom made to match my engagement ring which was bought in another state. They did an incredible job. My husband also slyly conspired with them to get my wedding rings so he could surprise me with a matching anniversary band.
