"Buyer Beware! Make sure you verify price before they make the first cut at this Hyde Park (Cincinnati, OH) store. Recently, they would not honor sale flyer pricing (I forgot to verify before cutting). The sales clerk told me to go to Hobby Lobby when I complained and was very abrupt—not customer-service-friendly at all.Joann Corporate did send a Joann gift card after I complained to them, but it would have been nice to get the money back that I was overcharged in this store. I will only be shopping other locations from now on and will leave reviews for any other false advertising issues that I encounter. I appreciate a bricks & mortar fabric store that is easily accessible for last-minute needs, but they still need to be held accountable. Being “the only game in town” does not preclude them from honoring sales and good customer relations."
"Staff is helpful when you ask, usually checkout is quick and easy. Coupons are a pain to manage (can I use them, or not?!), but that's a corporate thing, so I can't hold it against this particular store."
