Olde Wood Ltd

"Please reconsider if you are thinking about purchasing flooring from Olde Wood Ltd. Their products are unique and attractive but Olde Wood quality control is horrendous. Unlike other flooring suppliers, they will not provide specs to the customer. I ordered 6"-wide traditional oak planks and many, many, boards were 6" on one end and 5 7/8'' on the other end or else the width varied by 1/8'' throughout the length of the board. Other boards varied greatly depth-wise. My installers required double their normal installation time due to the fact they had to use a micrometer to measure every board prior to installation. My very experienced installer stated this was the worst product (out-of-spec) he has ever had to deal width. Sales associates Madison and Taylor were a joy to work with, but Old Wood's upper management/ownership personnel were arrogant and rude. CAREFULLY read their terms and conditions. You can find better product and service elsewhere."

"We were hesitant about buying a customized mantel wood piece online for our new fireplace but everything worked out perfectly! The support was great, we were able to see pictures of what we were to receive and the wood arrived safely and well-wrapped. Olde Wood even provided the cut end piece so we could experiment with different wax colors. Recommended!"

"We just received the white oak mantel and are extremely disappointed in the overall quality and workmanship of the mantel. The mantel joints are severely lacking wood filler and have very noticeable gapping. The entire mantel is riddled with nail holes that are blatantly obvious. I would like to commend your customer service (Madison) in the initial questions we asked and during the ordering phase as well as how quickly it arrived. We love the color, however, we are saddened that this is considered a $900.00 mantel."

"We decided to purchase wood flooring from Olde Wood Ltd and have been very pleased with the product so far. Picking out samples and working with a knowledgeable sales rep went smoothly. The flooring arrived in perfect condition and we have been installing ourselves. This is a big DIY project and I wouldn’t recommend jumping in unless you have some experience. Don’t forget to do your research and get the proper tools for the job. The wood planks have a lot of character and look stunning when you begin the installation. If this is a DIY project, I recommend carefully choosing your layout (racking) in order to get the best mix and look. I’m a little more than halfway complete and can’t wait to have the rest of the job completed. Way to go Olde Wood. -pioneer cherry traditional plank in 3-6” widths -natural oil finish -install with glue assist *1/8/22 Look at how much this cherry has darkened. The colors are so warm and beautiful. We love it."

"I have been dealing with Monica Triner for almost 3 years. I started talking to her before we started our dream house. She was very helpful in helping us pick out our flooring. We flew up to Ohio to visit the factory and Monica showed us all the products, gave us a tour of the factory and took us out to lunch. We wanted to put some flooring in our house that you don't see very often. So, we bought 3300 sq ft of it. It’s not complete but I will share a few pictures. Everybody that has seen it so far, loves it. I highly recommend this outfit, I haven’t had any problems."
