Reviews
"I had left a bad, 2-star review for the Elyria PO recently and I want to change my review... It was taking what seemed to be quite bit longer for me to see a property tax check I had sent out, out of my mailbox, taken out of my account and just today, I see it was finally taken out. I obviously don't know if it WAS the PO that may have misplaced it or not but either way...it showed up and accounted for!!! I sincerely apologize the the postmen of the Elyria branch for losing my mail!!! (I will be leave that sticker in my mailbox!!!) : ) THANK you to the Elyria branch...Thank you!!! : ) PS... now, if we can just get them to STOP leaving all kinds of junk mail in our mailboxes, they'd get a 5-STAR rating, at least from me!!"
"I went to the Elyria post office today to simply mail a card, and get a stamp on the envelope. There was a line all the way to the entrance. I would think this time of year they would have at least 2 people at the counter. They had one girl, and only her window was open. This is ridiculous for December. No wonder people don't want to us the US Post office."
"Want me to pay twice for something I already paid for, so inconvenient. I do not recommend at all."
"My wife and I recently went out of the country to get married. I was expecting an important piece of paperwork, unexpectedly. So I put an hold on our mail, even called the PO to confirmed they received our hold paperwork, which they said they did. We come back 8 days later just to find out they lied. Fortunately, my important paperwork wasn't touched."
"Constantly getting other peoples mail in this neighborhood. And other people get mine. Gets worse and worse each year. I have camera's up and you can see that there's a different person doing this route often and they don't stop to look at the mail. They just throw it anywhere. No care is taken and this is unprofessional and wreckless. Somebody else could end up with important things like checks that were ordered. You can't trust the mail system anymore, they hire anyone nowadays. Highly unreliable. And upsetting."
