"I've been going to another local chain shooting range for several years now. I'm usually greeted by an employee within 20 seconds of walking in the door. The staff is always courteous and eager to help. When the new Midwest shooting center opened in Beavercreek, the wife and I decided to go check it out. We got there around 7:00 in the evening. There were hardly any customers in the store, but plenty of staff. We saw at least a dozen employees, most of them standing in groups, laughing and showing each other things on their phones. We walked around the store browsing merchandise for approximately 15 minutes and not one single employee made any attempt to communicate with us, so we just left. With that kind of service, I have no compelling reason to set foot in their doors ever again."

"I haven't shot in over 20 years, and I had never used an indoor range. I have had no formal training, and was never part of the shooting culture. Living in Beavercreek, I always felt that ranges were too far, and inconvenient for a hobby that I am so casual about. It's not like I am a gun-nut with 30 different firearms at home. Now obviously, shooting a firearm should always be taken seriously, but Midwest is a VERY comfortable place for a casual or even just CURIOUS shooter to visit. Very professional, almost clinical atmosphere. VERY reasonable rental prices and selection. In summary, seems like a great place for all, from curious shooter to firearm fanatic. If you are even a little curious, I recommend you wander in, look at the show room, and maybe talk to the staff about pricing a memory-making afternoon or evening."

"Midwest Shooting Range A shooting range that sells handguns and rifles and shotguns. They also offer gunsmithing. Some of the stuff they offer is hard to find around here. They do offer cerakote and bluing work. They also sell lower receivers and complete lowers didn't notice if they had any complete uppers they do sell bolt carrier groups and Uppers. They have bowl camo none of it was priced. I did not see shotgun shells. They do have a good selection of holsters. They had great selection of handgun and AR magazines. Looks like they're mostly focused on being a range. Today was their grand opening and had a lot in stock. I'm going to come back in a week or two when the crowds die down. Want to know if they'll build an upper or lower. I'm sure they do. Most of my gunsmithing I get done is at Dad's golf carts. Midwest shooting range does offer safety courses and shooting for beginners. They have some pretty cool looking targets. I'll probably just keep going out to the spring valley shooting range with my range permit. This place is much better than shoot point blank which has changed your name to I forget what. The prices were the same as everywhere else. Some things were more expensive and some things were cheaper."
