"Since moving here, I have been pleased with the apartment, management and maintenance service received. The apartment was in very good condition for move-in, and it is apparent that upgrades have been made, particularly with windows, cabinets and interior walls where necessary. Diana and Jeanine, the property managers, have been pleasant and easy to work with when some questions or any minor issues have occurred. Maintenance guys have been prompt and complete in full any issues I have experienced. The landscaping has been maintained well. All in all, including pricing, it is a good complex to live in."
"I lived at these apartments for a year. The maintenance crew is PHENOMENAL. So sweet and personal. I had a problem with my heating during the winter and they were very quick about coming over and recalibrating the heating system. The leasing agent, Jeanine is awesome too. She is very loving and personal as well. I’ll miss her! The apartments itself are good for the price. My car was broken into and rummaged through during the first month of me being here. Towards the end of my lease, somebody broke off a wooden board on my back patio fence gate and was able to unlock it and enter. Nothing was ever stolen but these reviews about the area being a hotspot for people to break in seems to be true. Just make sure you triple lock your doors and cars!! I did also have my fence taken down and repaired due to plumbing maintenance underground that they had to do. They ran into some problems with the repair which resulted in them taking 3 months of the entire summer to put it back up. I have a dog so it was definitely an inconvenience for me and the back patio was a huge reason I chose these apartments. They did deny any compensation for the months I went without it. I was also in a corner unit that had my back sliding door facing the parking lot, so my privacy was completely exposed. The maintenance crew told me they had a lot going on at the time and they were short the normal amount of people they have which I understand. Overall, I’d recommend these apartments unless you’re a young woman living by yourself because you know… that’s how it goes."
"AVOID AND LOOK ELSEWHERE! This place might look great from the outside. But it is nothing but a scam. You might look at the complex and think that it looks nicer from the outside than other options but the facade can't hide the horrible management company behind the complex, Smythe Property Management. Over the year lived there, the building was without hot water for over a week and the only accommodation was to offer an unmonitored apartment for use of the shower by the entire building to use. A super safe solution for sure, I absolutely would not allow my daughter to use that facility. The pool had 3 options, full of people who don't live at the complex, closed for zero reason, or if you got lucky operating as normal. They require a 60 days written notice upon moving out or they will keep your entire security deposit regardless of the quality of the unit upon your move out. But offer zero protection for the tenant if you are in the house buying process and just simply don't know for sure if you will have to leave or not. No one there is of any help as "they are just pawns for the company". Save yourself the hassle and find a better place to live because it't not here."
"Do not move here under any circumstances. I should have known upon move in from the dead mice in my apartment, that this was a terrible idea. I felt very unsafe as a young woman living here - cars broken into/stolen. Office staff is AWFUL - extremely rude and dismissive from day one - your typical trash landlords. Speaking of trash, there is one dumpster for several buildings, always overflowing and crawling with maggots. My room mate and I tried calling to notify staff of our intent to move out, as required within 60 days, and they would not pick up the phone. After no returned calls, per policy, they refused to return our security deposit - 2 days after the 60 day mark, when we were finally able to get a hold of them, they informed us that they will be keeping our security deposit. We kept the apartment in great condition - better than when we moved in - and after keeping the deposit, charged again ($40) for a single blind slat. Don't waste your time/money/breath here."
"Do not move here!! I tried giving this place a try for 2 years and never felt safe. My boyfriends car got stolen and when I asked the office to check the cameras, they don’t have any working and only have 1 at the office. They have a “lifeguard” that works about 1 hour a week. A 2 year old was drowning while I was at the pool a couple weeks ago and I had to give CPR and resuscitate him. They shut down the pool for the day and never acknowledged anything else. Office lady always has attitude and is rude. They decided to start showing my apartment to random people while I was still living here. Despite me never giving them permission to enter, they were already walking over to my place. Oh and make sure you give a WRITTEN 60 day move out notice. I tried calling the office before 60 days and no one answered so then decided to pocket my $1,000 deposit and charge me out of pocket for any extra damage. Don’t waste your money on this place."
