"Never in America have I ever heard of paying 45$ dollars for a back ground check before you get to see the apartment.. your supposed to do all that after you show the apartment why pay money and it's not the apartment you want ??? Yup I won't be renting from this place.. just reeks of shady people.."

"The living definition of Napoleon Complex. The unit we wanted to rent was never cleaned before moving in. The guest room smells like a cat sprayed in there, which was never taken care of. We've had a leaky ceiling since moving in 4 years ago despite "repairs". The driveway might've been plowed once in 4 years. We've had a squirrel living in the ceiling for 3 years despite "repairs". He has used profanity towards my wife and is extremely disrespectful whenever questioned for why he operates so lazily. The help he hires is never fully qualified to do the job.There's no use trying to reason with this guy because he's always right, but its all smoke and mirrors. The last couple years I have given up any hope dealing with him and it being professional. I say all this knowing the other 4 units in the building were/are in worse condition than ours. Rent might be cheap, but you get what you pay for if anything at all. Happy to have a new landlord!"

"I called to ask some questions about a property he listed. He has some requirements that I’ve never encountered with other landlords so I wanted a clear understanding before I paid the $35 fee to just see the house. I’m pretty sure that fee doesn’t go towards anything, and if you don’t like the house your out the $35. I would barely finish my sentence and he kept interrupting me. And then when I would ask questions for clarification (didn’t even get a chance to explain to him that I’ve never experienced these types of requirements) he started talking down to me. I’ve heard rumors from friends and people around the neighborhood to avoid square management and now I understand why."

"DO NOT RENT FROM THIS GUY If I could give 0 stars I would. He is Akrons finest slumlord. The property owner, Wendy Cheng, owns over 200 houses in this city. What they do to our homes and people is criminal! There was a room I did not have access to for several months (wall of mold!!) because it was locked. Under the sink also had a child lock on it and I didn't discover the mold until the kitchen started to stink. 18 months and no repairs. I finally moved out and did not get my deposit back, in fact he claims I owe him $600. This man is the lowest of the low and he will be sneaky. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE!"
